During a meeting with the Administrative Committee of the Senate (Council of Ministers), chaired by Senator Tawfiq Krishan, Jado’u explained that GAM relies on a central control center to monitor and manage traffic lights across the capital. Utilizing the latest technological solutions, the center allows for rapid intervention to address traffic bottlenecks based on real-time data.

Amman Bus: A Model for Public Transport
Jado’u highlighted that the "Amman Bus" project has become an advanced civilized model, significantly contributing to the promotion of a public transport culture and reducing reliance on private vehicles. This shift has positively impacted the fluidity of movement within the city.

Smart Monitoring and Data Analysis
Regarding the city's surveillance network, Jado’u clarified that GAM utilizes a smart traffic monitoring and analysis system comprising approximately 5,600 cameras distributed across various axes and intersections. These cameras are primarily used for traffic counting and flow analysis.

He emphasized that only 25% of these cameras are designated for detecting traffic violations. The vast majority are employed for organizing traffic movement, supporting future urban planning, and facilitating technical decision-making processes.

The meeting was attended by the Assistant Director of Public Security for Traffic Affairs, Brigadier General Muhannad Al-Batayneh, and the Director of the Traffic Department, Brigadier General Raed Al-Assaf.
