He added that the Ministry is working to encourage and enhance green production in Jordan, developing it in line with global trends in environmental sustainability, alongside improving the waste collection, transport, and recycling system in cooperation with relevant authorities.
For his part, the Chairman of the Jordan and Amman Chambers of Industry, Engineer Fathi Al-Jaghbir, emphasized the industrial sector's commitment to consolidating its role as a primary supporter of the national economy. He explained that the factory is an entirely Jordanian investment that sorts and recycles industrial waste from several factories specializing in mineral, engineering, and plastic industries using the latest specialized equipment.
In turn, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of "City Metals," Engineer Abdullah Al-Shawabkeh, explained that the factory is a fully Jordanian investment specializing in sorting and recycling metal and plastic industrial waste using state-of-the-art equipment, aiming to return these materials to production lines instead of landfilling them.
