The Arab Republic of Egypt strongly condemned the attacks targeting the Kingdom of Jordan and the strikes on oil facilities in the Eastern Province of the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Egypt characterized them as unacceptable assaults on state sovereignty and vital civilian infrastructure, a flagrant violation of international law, and a dangerous escalation threatening regional security and stability while undermining global energy security.

In a statement issued by its Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Wednesday, Egypt affirmed its full solidarity with the two sisterly kingdoms, Jordan and Saudi Arabia, and declared its total support for all measures they take to preserve their security and stability and to protect their sovereignty and vital installations. Egypt reiterated its categorical rejection of all attacks targeting civilian infrastructure or infringing upon the security and sovereignty of Arab nations.
