Employers to be fined JD500–1,000 for late wage payments — ministry

AMMAN — Under an awareness campaign on workers’ rights, the Ministry of Labor said that employers will be fined between JD500 and JD1,000 if they pay workers less than minimum wage (JD260), delay payments, or exhibit gender discrimination in paying employees, Khaberni reported.اضافة اعلان

The ministry also stated that fines will be doubled if repeat offenses occur.
