The Central Bank Issues Treasury Bonds Worth 50 Million Dinars

The Central Bank of Jordan, on behalf of the government, issued on Monday the 26th issuance of the year of treasury bonds worth 50 million dinars.

According to data reviewed by Al-Mamlaka, the maturity date for the current issuance is August 26, 2028, while the settlement date is set for August 26, 2025.

Treasury bonds are financing instruments with long-term maturities ranging between two and twenty years, and they vary between government/treasury bonds and those issued by companies.

Meanwhile, treasury bills are short-term government debt instruments issued for periods ranging between 3 and 12 months. They are considered low-risk financial tools and are traded in money markets through buying and selling.
