Crown Prince Al Hussein met with Kuwait Red Crescent Society Chairman Hilal
Al-Sayer on Sunday, according to a Royal Court statement.

During
the meeting, Crown Prince Al Hussein reaffirmed the deep-rooted ties between
Jordan and Kuwait, commending the humanitarian services provided by the Kuwait
Red Crescent Society to refugees.
For his
part, Chairman Sayer gave a brief about the society’s activities in Jordan and
its efforts to help refugees, the latest of which was the launch of a medical
programme to perform surgeries for Syrian refugees, in cooperation with a
Kuwaiti medical team and the Jordan National Red Crescent Society.
Jordan
National Red Crescent Society President Mohammad Al-Hadid, Kuwait Red Crescent
Society Secretary General Maha Al-Barjas, and Kuwait’s Ambassador to Jordan
Aziz Al-Daihani attended the meeting.
