Completion of the Rum–Rasheediya Road Project, 19 km Long

The Ministry of Public Works has completed the construction of the road connecting Rum Junction to the town of Rasheediya in Al-Quwaira District, Aqaba Governorate.اضافة اعلان

Aqaba Governor Ayman Al-Awaisheh stated that the 19-kilometer road was implemented in cooperation between the Ministry of Public Works and the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority, at a cost of 3 million dinars. The road links the Rum tourist area with the main Desert Highway between Aqaba and Amman.

Al-Awaisheh pointed out that the road has been enhanced with a dedicated bicycle lane to serve cycling enthusiasts and travelers using this means of transport. He emphasized that, overall, the road will be a valuable addition to the area, encouraging tourism and investment.
