Jordan registered 50 new nurseries by the end of the first half of 2025, according to the Prime Ministry’s report on the Executive Program of the 2023–2025 Economic Modernization Vision. The move aims to provide a more supportive environment for working mothers, thereby enhancing women’s participation in the labor market and strengthening their economic empowerment.اضافة اعلان

The report indicated that the registration of new nurseries created 200 job opportunities, in addition to formalizing 35 businesses into the organized sector, and providing 179 facilitated job opportunities for women through loans. Furthermore, 87 women benefited from various training programs designed to strengthen their role in economic activity.

The report also highlighted the completion of criteria for granting the “Equality Seal” to promote women’s economic participation in both public and private sector institutions. These criteria have been presented to the Ministerial Committee for Women’s Empowerment for approval before submission to the Cabinet and official launch.

This comes within the context of the first half of 2025 progress report, which outlines achievements under the Economic Modernization Vision and Cabinet-issued economic decisions, while also presenting key indicators of the eight growth drivers: investment, quality of life, Jordan as a global destination, sustainable resources, future services, sustainable environment, leadership and creativity, and high-value industries.
