In the same context, the Director of Education for the Tafileh District, Imran Al-Lasasmah, in coordination with Tafileh Governor Sultan Al-Madhi, decided to delay the start of classes for students in public and private schools until 10:00 a.m. today, Sunday.

Jordan remains on Sunday under the influence of a cold and moist air mass associated with a low-pressure system, with a further drop in temperatures. The weather will be cold, cloudy, and rainy in most parts of the Kingdom. Rainfall is expected to be heavy at times during the morning hours in northern and central regions and the southwestern areas, accompanied by thunderstorms and hail.

Westerly winds will be active, with occasional strong gusts reaching 50–60 km/h, stirring dust in desert areas. Rainfall intensity is expected to gradually weaken during the evening and nighttime hours.

The Meteorological Department has warned of possible flash floods during the morning in valleys and low-lying areas in northern and central Jordan and parts of the southwestern regions, including the Dead Sea area. Warnings also include strong winds and gusts, reduced horizontal visibility due to dust in desert areas—sometimes dropping to zero on desert roads—as well as reduced visibility due to fog and low clouds touching the ground, especially over mountainous highlands and plains, and slippery roads in areas experiencing rainfall.
