CSB launches projects to develop institutional performance

AMMAN — The Civil Service Bureau (CSB) launched a slew of development projects, which the US Agency funds for International Development (USAID), according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.    In a statement released on Thursday, the CSB's President, Sameh Nasser, was briefed by the experts' team in charge of implementing projects from the Institutional Performance Development Unit and the USAID, on the initial design of the e-platform to link individual-institutional performance indicators according to the new CSB-approved performance management policy within this project's first phase.    According to the statement, Nasser stressed the need to implement the project according to "clear" visions that ensure objectivity in the process of managing and assessing performance, in line with the Public Sector Development Committee's recommendations.    In addition, Nasser reviewed the work stages on the other USAID-funded projects for job quantitative and objective evaluation.
