The percentage of government services that have been digitized in Jordan reached 85.8% by the end of the first half of 2026, according to the first-half progress report on the second executive program of the Economic Modernization Vision 2026–2029.
The report also showed that the number of activated digital IDs on the Sanad application reached approximately 2.8 million.
In the area of digital service development, the Sanad application added 16 new services and improved 13 existing ones. A campaign was also launched to activate inactive accounts, while a data analytics system was introduced to improve the user experience.
In the education and digital skills sector, work was carried out to digitize activity books for the newly developed digital skills curriculum for students from first through sixth grade and make them available through the Ajyal platform. Around 2,047 digital skills teachers also received training.
The report noted that technology centers in Irbid and Aqaba were established and equipped under the Technology Platforms Project, with pilot operations beginning at the two centers.
In the area of skills development and employment opportunities, 1,260 beneficiaries received training under the Digital Skills Empowerment Project, contributing to strengthening young people’s capabilities and improving their readiness for the labor market.
The report also indicated that 1,181 beneficiaries received training through the Jordan Growth Project, while 500 jobs were created under the Kafa’at program and 30 startups and small businesses received support.
In addition, 247 beneficiaries were employed through the Hafez temporary employment program in the digital and entrepreneurial sectors, working on digital transformation projects at ministries and government institutions.
As part of efforts to support private-sector participation, 39 private-sector companies were approved under the “Qissat Tech 2026” initiative, which aims to support and employ female graduates in the telecommunications and technology sector.
The report also noted that applications for the Crown Prince Award had been received and screened through the digital platform, with the process moving to the technical evaluation stage after 220 out of 300 applications qualified.
