7 parliamentary blocs formed in parliament

AMMAN – The Secretary-General of the House of Representatives, Awad Al-Ghuwairi, announced that parliamentary blocs have submitted their members' names to the General Secretariat in accordance with Article 26 of the internal regulations.اضافة اعلان

"The number of blocs formed in the 19th regular session of the 19th House of Representatives is 7, comprising 118 deputies. These blocs include: Al-Adalah, Al-Qarar, The National Coalition, Al-Tayyar Al-Dimuqrati, Al-Barnamaj, Al-Ahd, in addition to 11 independent deputies,” Ghuwairi said according to Al Mamlaka.

Al-Ghuwairi explained that this action was taken to meet the requirements of forming parliamentary blocs and alliances according to the internal regulations of the House of Representatives. According to these regulations, each bloc should have no less than 10% of the total number of House members. Additionally, two or more blocs may form a parliamentary alliance.
