65 Jordanians arrive home on military plane from Ukraine — Foreign Ministry

AMMAN — A military evacuation plane arrived at Marka Airport from Bucharest, carrying 65 Jordanian citizens and their families from Ukraine via Romania, as part of His Majesty King Abdullah II’s directives to evacuate Jordanian nationals from Ukraine, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs announced on Wednesday, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.اضافة اعلان

With the plane’s arrival, the number of Jordanians, who returned to the Kingdom, rose to 90, following the earlier repatriation of 25 citizens’ who crossed the borders to Ukraine’s neighboring countries in light of escalating military actions there.

The ministry announced early Tuesday that it had facilitated transit and entry procedures for 537 Jordanians and their families at Ukraine’s border crossings with neighboring countries, which include Romania, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary and Moldova.
