45,000 Jordanians performed Umrah in 2023

AMMAN – According to Bilan Rubin, a representative of Hajj and Umrah, 45,000 Jordanians performed Umrah in 2023, Khaberni reported. Rubin mentioned a lower interest among Jordanian citizens in Umrah trips compared to the previous year, noting that the number of Jordanian pilgrims from July to the end of December 2022 reached 70,000.اضافة اعلان

Rubin expects an increased interest from citizens during the winter school vacation to perform Umrah, as it is customary every year. He also confirmed that Hajj and Umrah offices have offered promotional incentives to encourage Jordanians to undertake Umrah.

Regarding Hajj registration, he pointed out that the registration for pilgrims started on Monday, December 11, on the Ministry of Awqaf's website, and will continue until Sunday at 10p.m.
