2021 statistics show 5,069 men in Jordan are polygamists

The number of men with multiple wives are distributed among the Kingdom’s governorates as follows: 1,700 in Amman, 906 in Irbid, 745 in Zarqa, 761 in Tafilah, 496 in Mafraq, 269 in Balqa, 178 in Madaba, 177 in Jerash, 176 in Karak, 128 in Aqaba, 115 in Ajloun, and 112 in Maan.
