Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship Sami Smirat said Wednesday that the e-Gates had officially begun operating at Amman Civil Airport.
Smirat said the launch follows the experience introduced at Queen Alia International Airport, which helped integrate digital solutions into passenger travel procedures.
He added that work is underway to expand the use of these digital solutions in the coming phases, with the aim of making the passenger experience easier, faster and more efficient by using technology to simplify procedures and provide digital services that meet travelers’ needs.
