Amman – His Majesty King Abdullah II has directed the government to build a new international football stadium to serve the sports and youth sector in Jordan.
The King also instructed the development of sports facilities at the Hussein Youth City, the first sports city in Jordan, along with continued improvements to other sports facilities in the capital and across the governorates.
This directive reflects His Majesty’s ongoing support for sports and youth and his recognition of the achievements of Jordanian athletes.
King Abdullah emphasized that the national team, the "Nashama," who have raised Jordan’s flag high in international competitions, deserve the care and support of the government, particularly in providing high-quality sports facilities.
