Saudi Arabia’s General Authority of Civil Aviation said on Tuesday that King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Jazan and Najran International Airport were targeted in two attacks on Monday evening.

The authority said in a statement that the attacks caused three minor injuries and material damage. The injured were taken to hospital for the necessary medical treatment.
Emergency teams and relevant authorities responded immediately, following established procedures and emergency plans, the statement added.
The authority said it was coordinating with the relevant security agencies to assess the damage and take the necessary measures to ensure the safety of passengers and staff, and to maintain the security and safety of Saudi Arabia’s civil aviation system.
