Pogba, 33, won the FIFA World Cup with France in 2018, but has struggled to regain his form since the completion of his doping suspension.
Monaco stated in a press release that the goals set with Pogba "were only partially achieved," leading to the decision to end his contract, which had been set to run through June 2027.
Pogba is currently sidelined with a thigh injury, shortly after returning from a knee injury.
Monaco praised the player's "exceptional mindset, determination, and consistently high standards," emphasizing that even during his injury spells, he maintained a positive impact on the squad by "sharing his experience and knowledge" with his teammates.
