Videos circulating on social media showed parts of the collapse site, with emergency teams deployed in the area.
According to Israeli media reports, the collapse occurred at a building on Nahalat Binyamin Street in Tel Aviv. The building was still under construction and was not occupied.
Rescue teams managed to pull three people from inside the site, while search and inspection operations continued to determine whether anyone else remained trapped under the rubble.
Initial assessments indicated that those trapped were workers who had been inside the building while construction work was underway.
No final figures have been released regarding injuries or the extent of the damage, and the cause of the collapse has not yet been determined.
