Jordanian national team and Egyptian club Pyramids FC player Ouda Fakhouri suffered an ankle ligament injury during his team’s match against Al Masry on Tuesday in the third round of the Egyptian Premier League.

Pyramids’ head of medical staff, Mostafa El-Mouniry, said initial examinations showed that Fakhouri had suffered a sprain to the ankle ligaments. The player will undergo further scans to determine the severity of the injury and establish the required treatment and rehabilitation period.
Fakhouri was forced to leave the field injured during the first half of the match, which was played at New Suez Stadium.
