Orange Jordan Hosts Workshop with 32 Companies to Promote a Safe and Sustainable Work Environment

In line with its steadfast commitment to promoting a culture of occupational health and safety, Orange Jordan organized a two-day specialized workshop at the Orange Training Center. The event gathered over 32 local and international partner companies, alongside representatives from relevant national ministries and institutions.اضافة اعلان

The workshop was held under the patronage and presence of Dr. Ibrahim Harb, Chief Legal, Regulatory, Sourcing and Supply Officer / Chief Human Resources Officer at Orange Jordan. It was organized by the Human Resources Unit – Compensation and Benefits Department, with the aim of fostering a culture of occupational safety and enhancing preventive practices among contractors and business partners, in accordance with national and international regulations.

Key topics addressed in the workshop included health and safety legislation, workplace risk prevention methods, social security and work-related injuries, personal protective equipment (PPE), road safety, first aid, and positive thinking in the workplace. The workshop also featured a success story presentation about Orange Jordan's journey in developing its occupational health and safety system.

Representatives from official institutions praised the initiative. These included Dr. Mundher Bani Fayadh from the Ministry of Health (Director of Occupational Health), Eng. Zain Al-Abideen Ahmad from the Ministry of Labor (Occupational Health and Safety Directorate), Dr. Radwan Bani Hani and Dr. Mai Al-Sharif from the Social Security Corporation, as well as representatives from Civil Defense and the Jordanian Traffic Institute. All highlighted the important role that major companies play in institutionalizing health and safety practices and protecting lives.

Dr. Ibrahim Harb emphasized that the health and safety of all employees and partners is a top priority and a core part of the company’s culture. He noted that the workshop aimed to raise awareness, share expertise, and strengthen preventive practices and compliance with safety standards to ensure a safe and positive work environment for everyone.

The workshop concluded with a call for all contractors and partners to continue adhering to the highest occupational health and safety standards, along with words of appreciation for all attendees for their active participation and support in making the event a success.
