Jordan Chamber of Industry: Local Food Products Cover About 67% of the Market

Mohamed Al-Jaitan, representative of the food industries at the Jordan Chamber of Industry, said on Sunday that local food products cover approximately 67% of the domestic market.اضافة اعلان

Al-Jaitan added that the food industry sector has achieved self-sufficiency in certain items, including poultry, eggs, sweets, and halva, among others.

Regarding the availability of goods during Ramadan, he confirmed that supplies are sufficient and the quantities offered exceed demand, noting that the situation is stable and local prices are lower than those abroad.
