The program empowered 285 participants to acquire financial, technological, and creative skills through an interactive, hands-on educational experience. It combined practical learning with technology and arts, presenting a comprehensive approach that links financial concepts to children’s daily lives while fostering saving habits and creative thinking.

The practical component included “Smart Piggy Bank” workshops, where children aged 9–14 designed coin-counting piggy banks using Arduino technology, and Junior Robot activities, allowing adolescents to build interactive robots that respond to coins with light and sound signals. These activities introduced participants to the basics of programming, electronics, and mechanics.

Arab Bank volunteers contributed by providing hands-on support and supervision, reinforcing the bank’s role in nurturing youth talent as part of its social responsibility.

Reem Al-Adwan, Director General of Heya Cultural Center, said:
"We are proud of our ongoing collaboration with Arab Bank, which enabled us to design and implement innovative educational programs that teach children and adolescents the importance of saving through arts and experiential learning. This partnership equips them with technological and cognitive skills, boosts their confidence, and opens new horizons for their future."

Diaa Sarhan, supervisor and workshop facilitator at Heya Cultural Center, added:
"We were delighted to work with children and adolescents in a program that combines financial literacy with technology in an interactive, practical way. We observed clear progress in participants’ understanding of saving and innovation, as well as their enthusiasm for experimenting with modern technologies and creating solutions with their own hands. Programs like this help discover children’s potential and develop their skills, emphasizing the importance of experiential learning in preparing a generation capable of creative thinking and meeting future demands."

The program was implemented in cooperation with 17 community organizations, enhancing access to children in their local environments, increasing participation, and promoting educational equity.

Founded in 1976 as Jordan’s first non-profit cultural institution, Heya Cultural Center continues to develop educational and cultural programs for children and adolescents. Arab Bank’s support reflects its strategic commitment to corporate social responsibility, aiming to create a sustainable positive impact in education and community development.

The bank’s comprehensive sustainability and social responsibility strategy, exemplified by its “Ma’an” initiative, supports projects across vital sectors including education, health, poverty alleviation, environmental protection, women’s empowerment, and orphan care, through collaborations with local community organizations.
