He added that the strategic reserve of essential food commodities in the Kingdom is secure and reassuring, sufficient to cover the local market's needs for comfortable periods, supported by regular supply operations and stable logistics chains.

Al-Qudah explained that the Ministry monitors the stock levels of essential food items daily—including wheat, barley, rice, sugar, oils, and legumes—to ensure their continuous availability without interruption.

He pointed out that the Ministry has taken proactive measures to bolster food stocks by diversifying import sources, strengthening partnerships with the private sector, and regulating food exports. The Ministry has prohibited the export of several essential food items except with official and justified approval, contributing to market stability and ensuring commodities remain available to citizens at appropriate prices.

Furthermore, Al-Qudah noted that the Ministry’s inspection teams are intensifying field tours across various governorates to monitor commodity availability, ensure compliance with market regulations, and prevent any practices that could affect price stability or the supply of food materials.

He concluded by affirming that local markets are witnessing a clear abundance of various food products, urging citizens to avoid panic buying, as the strategic reserve is safe, stable, and meets the Kingdom’s requirements.
