Prices of petroleum derivatives rose in global markets during the first week of September compared to their levels in August, according to the weekly bulletin issued by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.

According to the report, the price of 95-octane gasoline increased from $684 to $700 per ton, a rise of 2.3%, while 90-octane gasoline went up from $662 to $678 per ton, marking a 2.4% increase.
The average price of diesel rose from $619 to $633 per ton, up 2.3%, and kerosene prices climbed from $647 to $659 per ton, up 1.9%.
Meanwhile, the average price of fuel oil declined from $396 to $394 per ton, a drop of 0.5%.
The average price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) for September remained unchanged from August at $498 per ton, while Brent crude also stabilized at $68 per barrel.
