AMMAN, Jordan — University House for Consultation and Studies (UniHouse Jordan), the Amman-based arm of international advisory firm UniHouse Global Ltd, has been awarded a contract by the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) to deliver the Capacity Building Program for Governmental Employees and Operators in the Ninewa and Anbar Governorates of Iraq. The award marks UniHouse’s second contract with UNOPS as an advisor.اضافة اعلان

Running through August 2026, the programme deploys a multidisciplinary team of senior engineers, project management specialists, and health, safety, and environmental experts across Mosul, Ramadi, Sinjar, and Ba’aj. It serves government employees and facility operators — and, through its housing component, extends directly to community beneficiaries, equipping residents of newly constructed housing units with the skills to operate and maintain their homes.

The programme also delivers management-level workshops on project management, HSSE compliance in construction, and environmental sustainability, alongside specialised technical training on compact and solar-powered borehole water treatment plants. In a first for the programme, UniHouse will embed applied artificial intelligence within the water treatment module, introducing AI-supported monitoring and predictive maintenance practices that help operators keep essential water infrastructure running reliably.

Evaluation across the programme will be conducted through UniHouse’s Capacity Development Evaluation Framework (CDEF), which measures results from participant learning through to institutional change — producing verifiable, auditable evidence of capability gains for UNOPS and its partners, rather than records of attendance.

The UniHouse evaluation system: the Capacity Development Evaluation Framework (CDEF) applies six stages to every project — from training delivery through continuous improvement to longitudinal follow-up and impact evaluation — producing verifiable, auditable evidence in a clear chain from output to outcome to impact.

The engagement reflects two hallmarks of the UniHouse approach: a South-South knowledge transfer model — drawing on evidence from comparable economies rather than defaulting to Northern framework imports — and deep experience in fragile and post-stabilisation markets, where building institutional capability that survives handover matters most.

“This second UNOPS award is a strong signal of confidence in UniHouse advisory capability,” said Wafa Al Adwan, Country Manager of UniHouse Jordan. “We are not delivering training for its own sake. We are transferring knowledge between comparable economies, working in fragile settings where it counts, and building systems — from housing maintenance to AI-supported water treatment — that institutions and communities will own and sustain long after we hand over.”
