In a video address marking the fourth anniversary of the war in Ukraine, Zelenskyy declared that Putin had neither reached his goals nor broken the will of the Ukrainian people, and had not secured victory in the conflict.
"We have preserved Ukraine, and we will do everything in our power to achieve peace and ensure justice," Zelenskyy added. "We want a peace that is strong, dignified, and lasting."
Meanwhile, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov earlier stated that he could not yet confirm the date or location for a new round of talks regarding Ukraine.
The Russian news agency TASS, citing an informed source, reported that the upcoming talks are expected to be held in Geneva, with the participation of delegations from Russia, Ukraine, and the United States.
