Kremlin: Potential for Negotiations with Iran “Not Yet Exhausted”
The Russian presidency stated on Thursday that the potential for productive negotiations regarding Iran “has not yet been exhausted,” following U.S. President Donald Trump’s warning to Tehran that “time is running out” to avoid a military strike, according to AFP.اضافة اعلان

Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said: “We continue to call on all parties to exercise restraint and refrain from using force to resolve this dispute,” adding, “Any use of force will only provoke chaos in the region and would have extremely serious consequences.”

Peskov’s remarks came a day after President Trump urged Iran to sit at the negotiating table and reach an agreement on nuclear weapons, warning of a possible U.S. military strike if negotiations fail.

Israeli media reported over the past week that Israeli security agencies have raised alert levels in anticipation of a potential U.S. strike on Iran in the coming days, despite no official indications from Washington.

In June of last year, Israel conducted a 12-day campaign against Iran, targeting military leaders and nuclear scientists in Tehran, while the U.S. carried out strikes on Iranian nuclear sites, before a ceasefire was declared on June 24.
