AMMAN — The United States and Australia deplored France's decision to recall its ambassadors from the United States and Australia after Australia withdrew from the deal to purchase French-designed submarines.
In 2016, Australia signed a deal with France to purchase 12 conventional submarines at the cost of 56 billion Euros, which it decided to scrap on Thursday, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
An official source at the white house said, "We regret France's decision and that the United States would be engaged in the coming days to resolve the difference."
