U.S. Official: Ukraine Agreement Includes “Strong” Security Guarantees Similar to NATO Protections

A U.S. official said on Monday that the proposed agreement with Ukraine includes “strong security guarantees” from the United States, akin to the collective defense protections provided by NATO.اضافة اعلان

The U.S. official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, added: “The foundations of this agreement are primarily based on genuinely strong guarantees, similar to Article 5 [of the NATO treaty], in addition to highly robust deterrence through weaponry.”
