The Russian Ministry of Defense announced on Tuesday that its forces took control of the town of Volkhovskoye in the Kharkiv region of northeastern Ukraine, following military operations it described as intense.اضافة اعلان

In a statement published by the Russian News Agency, the ministry said that units from the Russian "North" Group of Forces managed to secure the town. It added that units from the "South" Group strengthened their frontline positions, forcing Ukrainian troops to retreat across several areas in the Donetsk People's Republic, including Nikolaypol, Kondratovka, Kramatorsk, Nikolayevka, and Alexeyevo-Druzhkovka.

The statement noted that Ukrainian troop casualties over the past 24 hours reached approximately 195 soldiers, alongside the destruction of two armored fighting vehicles, 30 motor vehicles, and three artillery pieces.

The Russian Ministry of Defense also indicated that units from the "West" Group of Forces inflicted losses on Ukrainian troops in the areas of Shchurovo in the Donetsk People's Republic, as well as Komarovka, Blagodatovka, Olhovka, and Izyum in the Kharkiv region.
