Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated on Sunday that his country's forces hit three oil depots and a fuel facility in the Stavropol region of southern Russia.

Zelenskyy wrote on the X platform: "Units of the Security Service of Ukraine targeted three oil depots in the Stavropol region simultaneously, and units of our armed forces struck another fuel facility in the same region."
He added that three Russian tankers belonging to the "shadow fleet" were also hit in the Black Sea.
Zelenskyy noted that Russia had attacked Kyiv overnight with a barrage of ballistic missiles—among the largest in the war—killing at least one person and injuring 16.
According to Ukrainian media, Zelenskyy described the strikes carried out by Russian forces on military facilities in the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv, as one of the massive attacks.
He stated: "Overnight, Russia carried out one of the largest ballistic attacks on Kyiv," adding that "more than 40 missiles of various types" were fired at the targets. He stressed that "defense against ballistic missiles is a top priority."
Loud explosions echoed across the city during the attack, which involved the firing of about 41 missiles of different models, causing damage and destruction to buildings in several neighborhoods of the capital.
The Russia-Ukraine war is witnessing continuous escalation in reciprocal attacks. Ukraine has intensified its long-range strikes on targets inside Russian territory in recent months, while Russia continues to launch missile and drone attacks on Ukrainian cities, primarily the capital, Kyiv.
