UN Secretary-General calls for “silencing of weapons” in Gaza amid Ramadan

“Today marks the beginning of the blessed month of Ramadan, a time when Muslims around the world celebrate and promote values of peace, reconciliation, and solidarity. However, even with the start of Ramadan, the killing, shelling, and massacre continue in Gaza,” Guterres stated to journalists.
