The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said in a statement Sunday that its teams received the body of 55-year-old Ziad Naeem Abdul-Jabbar Abu Dawood from Israeli forces in the Bab al-Zawiya area and transferred it to Hebron Governmental Hospital. The statement added that the occupation forces withheld the body of 17-year-old Ahmed Khalil Rajabi and transported it in a military vehicle.
Israeli forces deployed in the city center had opened live fire at a vehicle in the Bab al-Zawiya area and prevented ambulance crews from reaching it. They also shot Abu Dawood—who worked as a sanitation employee at Hebron Municipality—while he was performing his duties, leaving him to bleed until he succumbed to his injuries, before later handing his body over to Red Crescent teams.
