GAZA — On Thursday, the
United Nations Humanitarian Coordinator for the Palestinian Territories, Lynn Hastings, issued
a stark warning, stating that "there is no safe place in Gaza" as a
result of the Israeli aggression in the Gaza Strip.

Hastings emphasized in her statement that the
"pre-warnings" given by the Israeli military to residents,
instructing them to evacuate targeted areas in the northern part of the Strip,
"make no difference,” Al-Mamlaka TV reported.
Furthermore, she affirmed the United Nations'
commitment to providing assistance to those in need, regardless of their
location. Hastings also reminded that armed conflicts are governed by
international humanitarian law, which means that civilians must be protected and
have access to essential resources to sustain their lives, whether they choose
to relocate or remain in place.
