The attacks targeted the Tarouja area, where settlers burned five homes, including four under construction in the town of Al-Mazra’a Al-Sharqiya, before withdrawing toward nearby settlements. In the neighboring town of Abu Falah, settlers also set fire to a farm belonging to Palestinian farmer Ziad Ria, destroying its contents.

Eyewitnesses reported that Israeli forces did not intervene to stop the attacks. The northern and eastern areas of Ramallah have seen a recent surge in settler violence, including arson of homes and vehicles and attacks on farmers, often occurring under the protection of the Israeli army.

According to the Anti-Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, since the start of the ongoing Israeli offensive, over 1,078 Palestinians have been killed, more than 10,000 injured, and over 20,000 arrested in the West Bank.

The ceasefire agreement on October 10 ended the Gaza offensive, which left over 69,000 Palestinians dead and more than 170,000 injured, most of them women and children, with reconstruction costs estimated at $70 billion by the United Nations.
