Vance: Trump’s Policy Is That Israel Will Not Annex the West Bank

Vance added that President Donald Trump’s policy remains that Israel should not annex the West Bank.

Speaking to reporters in Tel Aviv, Vance said, “The Knesset vote to annex the West Bank was strange. If it was a political maneuver, it was a foolish one, and it upset me. We will not allow Israel to annex the West Bank, and we were not pleased with that vote.”

Vance also stated in Tel Aviv that he felt “very relieved” about the ceasefire in Gaza following his talks with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
