The ministry stressed that the Iranian nuclear file should be removed from the Security Council’s agenda under the “Non-Proliferation” category, noting that Iran’s nuclear program should be treated like any other nuclear program of a Non-Nuclear Weapon State party to the Non-Proliferation Treaty.

The statement strongly criticized the three European countries – Germany, France, and the United Kingdom – accusing them of misusing the dispute resolution mechanism of the nuclear agreement under U.S. direction, describing such actions as “legally void and without effect.”

Tehran also called on the UN Secretary-General to correct what it described as “false information” published on the United Nations website regarding the reactivation of previous sanctions.

The statement further condemned what Iran described as “Israeli and American military attacks” on its territory and peaceful nuclear facilities, calling them a “serious violation of international law and the mechanisms of the nuclear non-proliferation regime.”

Iran expressed appreciation for the positions of Russia, China, and the member states of the Non-Aligned Movement that oppose European actions, reiterating the peaceful nature of its nuclear program and its commitment to continue diplomatic efforts while defending the “legitimate rights of the Iranian people.”
