Gaza's medic mayhem: 198 fallen, 21 Hospitals in grief

GAZA – The Palestinian Ministry of Health released on Saturday that since October 7; 198 healthcare workers have lost their lives, 53 ambulances have been destroyed, and 135 health facilities targeted. 21 hospitals and 47 primary care centers are also now out of service, Al Ghad reported.اضافة اعلان

Meanwhile, the World Health Organization (WHO) reports over 250 attacks on hospitals, clinics, patients, and ambulances in Gaza since October 7.

WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus stated:



 "The health system in Gaza is in a state of collapse," describing the situation on the ground as "impossible to articulate."

Tedros highlighted ongoing gunfire near Shifa and Rantisi Hospitals, emphasizing that Palestinian health workers continue to save lives despite being in the line of fire. Israel's recent attacks saw five hospitals hit in a single day, and in the past 48 hours, four hospitals with around 430 beds were forced to go out of service.
