Gaza Government Media Office: Israel Committed 875 Ceasefire Violations Resulting in 411 Martyrs
The Gaza Government Media Office reported on Monday that the Israeli occupation committed 875 violations of the ceasefire over a period of 73 days, resulting in the martyrdom of 411 people and injuries to 1,112 others.

The office stated that since the ceasefire came into effect on October 10, 2025, through December 21, 2025 (73 days), the occupation has continued to commit serious and systematic violations of the agreement. These actions, it said, constitute a blatant violation of international humanitarian law and a deliberate undermining of the essence of the ceasefire and the provisions of the attached humanitarian protocol.

According to the media office, a total of 875 violations were documented during this period, including 265 incidents of direct gunfire against civilians, 49 incursions by military vehicles into residential areas, 421 cases of shelling and targeting of unarmed civilians and their homes, and 150 incidents involving the demolition and destruction of homes, institutions, and civilian buildings.

The office further noted that only 17,819 aid trucks entered the Gaza Strip during the 73-day period, out of a total of 43,800 trucks that were supposed to enter. This represents a daily average of just 244 trucks, compared with the agreed 600 trucks per day—an adherence rate of no more than 41 percent. This shortfall has led to continued severe shortages of food, medicine, water, and fuel, deepening the catastrophic humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip.

In addition, the number of fuel trucks that entered Gaza during the same period amounted to only 394 trucks out of the 3,650 fuel trucks that were supposed to enter, averaging five trucks per day instead of the agreed 50—an adherence rate of no more than 10 percent. This has left hospitals, bakeries, and water and sewage facilities in a state of near paralysis, further exacerbating the suffering of the civilian population.
