The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced on Monday an increase in the death toll from Israeli-imposed starvation and malnutrition to 300 Palestinians, including 117 children, since October 7, 2023.

In a statement, the ministry said it had recorded "11 deaths over the past 24 hours due to famine (Israeli starvation) and malnutrition, including two children."
With this, "the total number of victims of famine and malnutrition rises to 300 martyrs, including 117 children (since October 7, 2023)," according to the same source.
Since March 2, Israel has closed all crossings into Gaza, preventing any humanitarian aid from entering. This has plunged the Strip into a state of famine, despite aid trucks being piled up at its borders. Israel allows in only very limited quantities, insufficient to meet the basic needs of the starving population.
With U.S. support, Israel has been committing genocide in Gaza since October 7, 2023, including killing, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement, ignoring all international appeals and orders from the International Court of Justice to stop.
The Israeli genocide has resulted in 62,686 martyrs and 157,951 wounded Palestinians, most of them children and women, with over 9,000 missing and hundreds of thousands displaced.
