TEL AVIV — According to the Hebrew-language daily newspaper, Maarive, nearly half of Israelis oppose an immediate ground military operation in the Gaza Strip. The survey was conducted by the Panel4All Institute on October 25 and 26, with 522 participants representing the adult population of Israel. The margin of error is 4.3 percent, according to the newspaper. Meanwhile, a previous poll conducted by the institute last week and published by Maariv showed that 65 percent of respondents supported a military invasion of the Gaza Strip, without specifying the timing of the attack, Al-Mamlaka TV reported.
