Amman – Temperatures on Monday are expected to remain slightly below their seasonal average, with mild summer conditions prevailing across most parts of Jordan, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department.
The weather will be relatively hot in the Badia (desert) regions and hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with some low-level clouds expected to appear. Moderate northwesterly winds will blow throughout the day, becoming active at times.
Forecast temperatures are expected to range between 31°C and 21°C in East Amman, 29°C and 19°C in West Amman, 28°C and 17°C in the northern highlands, 27°C and 16°C in the Sharah Highlands, 36°C and 21°C in the Badia, 31°C and 20°C in the plains, 39°C and 25°C in the northern Jordan Valley, 41°C and 28°C in the southern Jordan Valley, 40°C and 26°C at the Dead Sea, and 41°C and 27°C in Aqaba.
Similar weather conditions are expected to continue on Tuesday, with mild summer weather across most regions, relatively hot conditions in the Badia, and hot weather in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Low-level clouds are expected to persist, while moderate northwesterly winds will remain active at times.
On Wednesday, temperatures are forecast to decline slightly, bringing mild weather to most areas, while hot conditions will continue in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Moderate northwesterly winds are expected, occasionally becoming active.
By Thursday, temperatures are expected to rise slightly. Mild summer weather will continue across most parts of the Kingdom, while relatively hot conditions will prevail in the Badia and hot weather will persist in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Moderate northwesterly winds will continue, becoming active at times.
