According to the Jordan Meteorological Department, maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to range as follows:

* West Amman: 33°C / 23°C
* Northern highlands: 32°C / 20°C
* Sharah Mountains: 33°C / 18°C
* Badia: 40°C / 23°C
* Plains: 35°C / 22°C
* Northern Jordan Valley: 42°C / 25°C
* Southern Jordan Valley: 43°C / 27°C
* Dead Sea: 42°C / 26°C
* Aqaba: 43°C / 27°C
Slight Drop in Temperatures Friday
Temperatures will dip slightly on Friday. The weather will be moderate in the highlands and plains, hot in the Badia and very hot in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea and Aqaba.
Winds will remain northwesterly and moderate, occasionally becoming active.
Further Cooling Saturday
Temperatures will fall slightly again on Saturday, reaching around their seasonal averages.
The weather will be moderate across most areas, relatively hot in the Badia and hot in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea and Aqaba. Low-level clouds are expected over northern Jordan.
Winds will be westerly and moderate, becoming active at times and occasionally raising dust in the Badia.
Rain Chance Sunday
Temperatures will continue to decline on Sunday, with partly cloudy and moderate conditions expected across most areas.
The Jordan Valley, Dead Sea and Aqaba will remain relatively hot to hot.
There is a chance of light rain showers during the early morning hours in parts of northern and western central Jordan.
Westerly winds will be moderate, occasionally becoming active and raising dust in the Badia.
