Ziyad scored his second victory in a row at the championship, after he beat Serbian Edin Sejdinovic in the under 71kg weight class.

Ziyad began his run with a historic and exciting victory over Cuba’s Roniel Iglesias, who is considered one of the world’s best boxers, winning gold at the 2012 London Olympics.

Ziyad will meet Norwegian Don Emini on Sunday.

Hussein has previously qualified for two Olympic Games: Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020, and managed to get past Slovak boxer David Michalek in the under 92kg weight class. Hussein showed remarkable talent during this fight, outscoring his opponent and gaining the victory in his first fight.
