Petra National Trust trains heritage associations on commercial use of social media

AMMAN — The Petra National Trust (PNT) has recently launched the practical phase of the digital empowerment training project for 13 local cultural heritage associations in Petra.اضافة اعلان

The project was funded by the International Alliance for the Protection of Heritage in Conflict Areas (ALIPH), a statement carried by the Jordan News Agency, Petra, said.

During this 6-day phase, participants received a training conducted by professional trainers on the advanced use of social media platforms (Facebook and Instagram) for commercial purposes, e-marketing, business email properties, and other remote business management tools, in addition to ZOOM platform training to keep pace with the global trends imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic.

PNT has also donated laptops and financial aid to all 13 associations participating in the project to support associations to achieve a smoother digital business transmission.
