Dead Sea:

A go-to summer destination, and for all the right reasons. Less than an hour away from Amman, the Dead Sea is the perfect day-trip for those looking to bask in the sunshine without spending the night. Take your pick of different hotels, each with a pool and private access to the salt lake.

Wadi Mujib:
Combine exercise and leisure by going to Wadi Mujib — a river canyon hiking trail famous for its waterfalls and natural waterslides. You can opt to have a tour guide accompany you along the 2 to 3 hour trail, which often gets deep enough for swimming.

B12 Beach — Ayla Oasis:
The artificial sandy beach at Ayla’s B12 Beach Club is a sure way to reinvent the Aqaba experience. Visit this picturesque spot and unwind with refreshing drinks, good food, clear waters, and — for those looking for that adrenaline rush — watersports.

Wadi Rum camps:
Take a dip in a pool against a desert backdrop. At some Wadi Rum camps, like Al-Sultana Luxury Camp, Palmera Camp, or Beit Ali Lodge Camp, you can momentarily escape the searing heat of the desert by going for a swim. Surrounded by the dryness of the desert, the pools stand out like an oasis, making for a unique swimming experience.

It’s time to check this place off your Jordan bucket list. Mountainous views, hot mineral springs, and waterfalls — Main Hot Springs is any nature-lover’s summer dream. To complement the natural landscape, the resort also has a pool, spa, and sauna where you can spend the day relaxing.
