LISTEN TO ‘NAWI AALEIH’
Rooted in Arabic pop with a modern take, ‘Nawi Aaleih’ is produced by hitmakers Nasir Al Bashir and Keen. The production combines punchy percussion, dreamlike harmonies and Arabic instrumentation, including violins that add depth to the emotions behind the lyrics.
Lyrically, ‘Nawi Aaleih’ plays with emotional push and pull, exploring longing and curiosity when asking her romantic interest for his real intentions. Through flirtatious yet vulnerable lines, Tiara explores the overwhelming feelings of waiting, wanting, and surrendering to uncertainty.
Speaking on the sound of the record, Tiara shares: “Nawi Aaleih feels very true to me sonically. It’s rooted in R&B, with a sensual flow and trippy moments where the drums come forward, alongside dreamy sounds. That contrast reflects my personal style, the way I like to feel when I listen to music.”
Sonically, the track reflects Tiara’s changing identity as an artist. Seamlessly combining Arabic lyrics with a global pop melody, she continues to experiment with sound, language, and structure, without being confined to one lane. Tiara is part of a generation pushing Arabic pop forward without compromising its authenticity. Following her previous releases such as ‘Weili’ and ‘Ahla Fatra’, ‘Nawi Aaleih’ reinforces Tiara’s artistic identity.
