Fuheis — The audience of the "Fuheis Festival / Jordan, History and Civilization" experienced, on its final public artistic night at the "Al-Qanater" stage, three hours of musical enchantment and nostalgia, in a closing concert that brought together Syrian star Sobhi Toufiq and Jordanian star Firas Toaimah. The theater's seats were filled to capacity, and the concert served as a true crowning finale to the festival's events, standing as a testament to its great success.

"Son of Fuheis," the beautiful-voiced Firas Toaimah, sang and enthralled the audience, moving between his own songs and traditional folk melodies, showing himself to be a highly experienced artist deserving of greater recognition and a bit of luck to break through into wider public and media prominence.
Toaimah performed a medley of Jordanian heritage songs, including "Reedha Reedha," "Ala Dallak," and "Bfi al-Tuffaha la Afresh wa Anam," before excelling in the famous folk song "Al-Ain Moleeteen," followed by "Yaba Yaba La" and "La Arkab Haddak Ya Matour." Before closing the concert with his own romantic song "Ghamrat Aynak," he performed, in his moving voice, "Kol Da Kan Leih" and "Andak Bahriya Ya Rayes."
As for Syrian star Sobhi Toufiq, he expressed his appreciation for being invited to sing before the Fuheis Festival audience for the second time, affirming his love for Jordan. He proved a true star worthy of closing out Fuheis's artistic evenings, singing from the gardens of classical music, performing Aleppan "qudud," classical tarab, and romantic songs, as well as folk pieces — excelling in every genre he presented. He further energized the crowd with his famous dance to the rhythm of the late Sabah Fakhri's song "Khamrat Al-Hub Isqiniha," with which he closed his grand performance.
Sobhi opened his concert by charming his audience with two of his own songs, "Ajebak Keda" and "Toul Manta Ghayeb," before singing Abdel Halim Hafez's masterpiece "Maw'oud," followed by "Alalli Jara." He then moved on to singing Aleppan qudud with the songs "Ya Mal el-Sham," "Ala al-Aqeeq Ijtama'na," and "Wa Fawq al-Nakhl." He also sang "Ama Barawa" and "Akzib Alayk," and surprised the audience with a segment of Jordanian and Palestinian folk heritage, performing Omar Al-Abdallat's song "Ya Saad" while wearing the Jordanian shemagh.
Children's Folk Dances Bid Farewell in the Festival's Children's ProgramAs part of the closing events, the Fuheis Festival brought down the curtain on its children's program, held at the Fraihat Association on Monday evening, crowning days of joy and creativity with a distinguished heritage performance presented by the Zaha Cultural Center.
The curtain rose on the final day of the festival's children's corner activities to the rhythms of authentic Jordanian heritage, as children from the Zaha Cultural Center delivered a striking display of traditional dabke folk dance, through which they successfully embodied humanity's bond with the land through coordinated movements that ignited the audience's enthusiasm, reviving heritage scenes in an engaging artistic style.
